Online Purchase Refund & Returns Policy
By purchasing from Linda & Co., you agree to the terms of our Delivery & Returns Policy. This policy operates in accordance with your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in this policy excludes, limits, or modifies your statutory rights in relation to faulty or misdescribed goods.
Order Cancellations
- Orders may only be cancelled before shipment. To request cancellation, you must contact Linda & Co. Customer Service by email or through our online support team.
- If cancellation is approved, the refund will be processed to the original method of payment minus all merchant fees and processing charges (PayPal, Stripe, ZipPay, Afterpay, etc.), as these are not refunded to us by the payment providers.
- Custom, special orders, modifications, alterations, resized items, and engraved products cannot be cancelled, refunded, or exchanged under any circumstances, except as required by law.
Change-of-Mind Returns
- Change-of-mind returns are not automatically accepted and are strictly subject to management approval.
- Returns must be lodged within 7 days of receiving the item. Items returned outside this period will not be accepted.
- Approved returns will be refunded minus merchant fees, shipping charges, and an administrative restocking fee of up to 10% of the order value.
- Refunds will only be processed once the returned goods have been received and inspected by our team.
Sale Items
- No refunds, exchanges, or cancellations are offered on sale or clearance items for change-of-mind.
- Sale items are sold as a final purchase.
- Rights under the Australian Consumer Law still apply: faulty or misdescribed sale goods remain eligible for repair, replacement, or refund as required by law.
Exchanges
- Exchanges are offered for change-of-mind purchases.
- Exchange are permitted if the product is returned in brand-new, unused, resalable condition within 7 days of receiving the item.
- If an exchange is approved, the customer will be responsible for any price differences, shipping costs, and applicable merchant or administrative fees.
Return Conditions
- Customers must obtain a written Return Authorisation from Linda & Co. before returning any product. Items sent without prior approval will not be accepted and may be returned at the buyer’s expense.
- All products must be in brand-new, unused, resalable condition, with original packaging, warranty cards, instructions, and all protective seals/tags intact.
- Products showing any signs of wear, damage, removal of protective coverings, or use will not be eligible for refund or exchange (except where required by the Australian Consumer Law).
- Any unauthorised, incomplete, or ineligible returns may be refused and returned to the customer, with return postage costs payable by the buyer.
Customer Responsibility During Returns
- Customers are fully responsible for the item until it is safely received at our warehouse. We strongly recommend using registered post with insurance and retaining proof of postage.
- Linda & Co. accepts no liability for lost, delayed, or damaged goods in transit.
- Customers are responsible for all costs associated with returning goods, unless otherwise required under the Australian Consumer Law.
Faulty, Damaged, or Incorrect Items
- If your item arrives faulty, damaged, or incorrect, you must notify our Customer Care team immediately upon receipt.
- In line with the Australian Consumer Law, we will assess the item and, if the fault is confirmed, offer a repair, replacement, or refund. The remedy provided will depend on the nature of the fault and the manufacturer’s assessment.
- Replacement items are subject to availability. Refunds for faulty goods will include any reasonable return shipping costs.
- If the item is assessed as not faulty or not covered under warranty, the customer is responsible for return shipping charges.
Manufacturer Warranties
- All watches purchased from Linda & Co. are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty, as we are an authorised dealer.
- Warranty claims are processed by the manufacturer or their authorised service centres. Linda & Co. cannot determine or expedite the manufacturer’s decision on repair, replacement, or refund.
- If the manufacturer finds no fault, return postage costs will be charged to the customer. For warranty submission instructions, please refer to the relevant manufacturer’s website.
Buy Now Pay Later Refunds
- Refunds for orders placed via Buy Now Pay Later services (ZipPay, Afterpay, etc.) will be processed minus all merchant fees, as these are not recoverable by Linda & Co.
Excessive Returns
- Linda & Co. reserves the right to decline future orders from customers with a history of excessive, abusive, or unfair return requests.
