This timepiece captures the tranquillity of the region’s calm and serene waters with a striking gradation dial. Just as the turquoise waters come alive under a cloudless sky, the dial bursts into vibrant life when present in sunlight.
The Seiko Sumo Prospex Divers Limited Edition Whitsundays model SPB429J is a mechanical automatic movement watch with 200m water resistance. The Whitsundays Limited Edition model SPB429 features a classic looking watch with a Turquoise gradient dial, green and matching Blue bezel along with a stainless steel case & bracelet. Exclusive to Australia and NZ, Seiko have only produced 1000 units. The Seiko Whitsundays model is shipped in a special edition box with an additional 2 soft silicone rubber straps. The limited edition number is marked on the caseback and is shipped randomly by Seiko.
Featuring the Seiko mechanical automatic 6R35 movement, the SPB429 has an accuracy tolerance of +25 /- 15 seconds per day with an approximate power reserve of 70 hours. The 6R35 calibre has a frequency of 21600 vibrations per hour (6 beats per second). This model is finished in full Stainless Steel. The hands and the markers have lumibrite to make them visible at night (once fully charged). The case size is 45mm and thickness 12.9mm, lug-to-lug size of 52.6mm, lug width of 20mm and the entire watch weighs approximately 190gm. Being a 200m dive watch, features include a screw lock crown, a screw case back and a uni-directional rotating bezel. Additional features include a date function and a stop seconds hand function.
