The Baume & Mercier Clifton Baumatic Automatic Watch M0A10870 combines refined Swiss watchmaking with the timeless elegance of the Clifton collection. Presented in a 39mm round stainless steel case, this limited-edition timepiece features a sophisticated glacier-blue guilloché dial and a polished and satin-finished integrated stainless steel bracelet.
At the heart of the watch is the Baume & Mercier manufacture Baumatic self-winding movement, calibre BM13-1975 A. The automatic movement offers an impressive 120-hour, or five-day, power reserve and operates at a frequency of 4Hz. Its finely finished components, including circular-grained bridges, a sandblasted and snailed plate, and an openworked oscillating weight decorated with Côtes de Genève, can be admired through the sapphire crystal case back.
The glacier-blue dial brings a distinctive contemporary character to the classic Clifton design. A sunburst minute track frames the dial, while the Arabic numeral at 12 o’clock and rhodium-plated, faceted trapezoid-shaped indexes provide clear definition. Faceted rhodium-plated alpha-style hour and minute hands complement the elegant dial, with a date display positioned at 6 o’clock.
The 11.22mm-thick stainless steel case is protected by a scratch-resistant domed sapphire crystal with anti-glare treatment on both sides. A sapphire crystal case back secured by four screws provides a view of the Baumatic movement and features a special Limited Edition engraving. The watch is water resistant to 50 metres.
Completing the design is an integrated three-row stainless steel bracelet with polished and satin-finished surfaces. Its interchangeable system allows the bracelet to be changed without tools, while the triple folding clasp with security push-pieces provides a secure fit.
