RUBBER SOUL
The Aquis Date Relief 43.5 mm, chosen for its practical, lightweight rubber strap, comes in a vibrant red. It features an extendable clasp for quick fit adjustments over a wetsuit. Its name derives from the minutes scale in relief on the uni-directional bezel, useful for timing dives (or pasta).

Oris and expedition swimmer Ernst Bromeis are going their own way to raise awareness of the importance of water, with the release of the Oris Aquis Date Relief, a high-quality diver’s watch.
Oris is proud to announce a new partnership with the swimmer and water ambassador Ernst Bromeis, a man who has already swum the length of the Rhine and is now working on ‘The Blue Miracle’, a series of swims that will form a campaign to raise awareness of water. These will start with a 800km swim across the world’s largest freshwater lake, Lake Baikal. The swim will take him 60 days and the water will measure a chilly 12 degrees Celsius.
The Oris Aquis Date Relief is inspired by the colour and feeling of water. The grey dial recalls the colour of a stormy sea, while the watch’s signature diving scale numerals in relief are a reminder of the texture of water, as well as its elemental role in all life.
